What do our communities need to be safe and thriving? 

That’s the question at the center of the People’s Budget, an engagement series supported by Chicago United for Equity (CUE). As the City of Chicago gears up to determine our 2022 budget, the People’s Budget is hosting several pop-ups where anyone can learn how the budget works, understand what others want to see funded in their communities and contribute their own knowledge and experience to shape a budget that serves us all. 

This month at the #PublicNewsroom, get trained to host your own budget party! The People’s Budget team joins us to talk best practices & share their tips and tricks. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to develop their facilitation skills, connect with their neighbors and learn how to make their voices heard.
