Join us for our second Community of Practice gathering to connect with other civic-minded Chicagoans!
It’s all happening Wednesday, November 9, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. CT via Zoom––register here to receive access details.
Community of Practice gatherings are fun learning exchanges where attendees help set the topic and agenda of the conversation. This event is somewhere between a hangout and a facilitated conversation and is a great way to listen and share what you’ve been learning, seeing and experiencing in our wonderful city. All you have to bring is your curiosity and participation!
You can expect our usual fun learning exchange, but this time we’re focusing on the budget! For the first hour, we’ll discuss budget hearing coverage, how aldermen voted and how funding will impact civic issues most important to our communities. The second hour will be unstructured time to chat and connect.
This gathering is open to anyone who has a Documenters.org account, which is free and easy to create! You don’t need to have attended any Documenters trainings nor have completed any assignments to join us. Sign up for an account here!
