Join us for our second Community of Practice gathering to connect with other civic-minded Chicagoans!
It’s all happening Tuesday, September 21, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. CT via Zoom––register here to receive access details.
Community of Practice gatherings are fun learning exchanges where attendees help set the topic and agenda of the conversation. This event is somewhere between a hangout and a facilitated conversation and is a great way to listen and share what you’ve been learning, seeing and experiencing in our wonderful city. All you have to bring is your curiosity and participation!
For the first hour, we will do introductions and small group conversations based on topics of your choosing. Previous topics include the city’s choice to hold Lollapalooza, in-person vs. remote public meeting coverage, and what future events you’d like to see us do! The second hour will be what we like to call a “parking lot” conversation or unstructured time to chat.
This gathering is open to anyone who has a Documenters.org account, which is free and easy to create! You don’t need to have attended any Documenters trainings nor have completed any assignments to join us. Sign up for an account here!
